Me and my wife, Cathy, started Rob and Cathy's Windy Whimsies back in 2020 for something to do and to make a little extra money. We got our daughter, Kaylee, involved in 2024. We make and sell wind chimes of various designs. In addition, Cathy and Kaylee put together, decorate and paint wooden jewelry boxes and wooden stick pins and broaches.
We started off with making small, wooden cartoon octopus wind chimes for orders. We eventually expanded our design menu to close to one hundred different designs. 2024 was our first year as vendors at markets and craft shows. We had a lot of fun and it was good family time.
Each piece we make provides its own challenges for they are handcrafted and no one piece is exactly alike. We are open to the ideas of expanding our creative horizons. We will do some custom orders.
