Volunteers are need in the Fine Arts Department!
This is a excellent opportunity to get some volunteer credits. Free entry into the fair the day you volunteer. Get your hours in and then explore the fair!

Designs should reflect ACF and what we stand for. Limit to 1 or 2 colors for main logo. Can choose to provide embellishments and backgrounds.
Earn 3 Membership credits for Submitting
Winner receives:
- Additional 10 credits per year for 2 years
- The newspaper will do a feature article on the winner and ACF’s revamp
- Gift card for restaurant of your choice

Letter from our President:
Dear ACF Members,
After much thought and consideration, I want to let you all know that I will be stepping down as President of the Board of Artists and Craftsmen of the Flathead at the end of my current term, following the 2025 Christmas at the Fairgrounds show.
It has truly been an honor to serve as President—and to be part of this incredible community—for the past 8 years. I've loved watching our organization grow, connecting with so many talented makers, and helping shape the events and policies that support our handmade marketplace. But as I look ahead to 2026, my calendar is simply too full to give ACF the time and attention it deserves. Rather than let my availability become a limiting factor, I believe it’s time to pass the torch and welcome some fresh leadership to the board.
I will make myself available for a very brief transition period to help ensure a smooth handoff. I would also recommend that any prospective board members jump in right away and begin attending the monthly Board Meetings starting in September 2025 as we prepare for 2025 Christmas Show.
With that in mind, we are now seeking volunteers to serve on the 2026 Board of Directors. We have 8 open board positions (see list above).
If you are interested in serving—or would like to nominate someone else—please send and email to info@ACFmt.org with your nomination by August 31, 2025. Elections will take place in September via a digital ballot, which will be sent to all members in early September. Voting will remain open through September 30, and results will be announced shortly after.
You’ll also have a chance to meet the board nominees at our upcoming General Membership Meeting on September 17.
Thank you all for the support, collaboration, and friendship over the years. I’m excited to finish out this year’s events with you—and to cheer on ACF’s future in the capable hands of new leadership.
